Founded in Antakya NECMI USTA DONER HALL It started to serve in Antalya at the beginning of 2022. At the beginning of our story in this sector, we considered it our duty to produce different, beautiful and suitable tastes for you.

When we research the history of doner; We discovered that it dates back to the time of the Ottoman Empire. Dating back to the 17th century, doner kebab is still the most popular of today's delicacies.

The first doner kebab was cooked on a horizontal skewer of slices of spicy meat. It is thought that vertical doner making started in the 1850s. It is assumed that the first doner kebab made vertically was made in Bursa.

 

A similar version of doner in Arabic cuisine is called Shawarma. Since the 1930s, Savurma has been sold in many countries. Greece, on the other hand, met the taste of doner kebab in the 1920s. In Greece, doner is sold under the name GYRIOS.

Döner became famous in Istanbul 100 years after its invention. The person who made doner kebab famous in Istanbul is Beyti GÜLER. The first customers of its first doner restaurant, which was opened in 1945, were journalists, and it quickly became famous. Afterwards, it became a frequent destination for many statesmen and artists.
